Each year Heritage Park of North Iowa hosts a number of events at the park grounds. In the sections below you will learn a bit more about each of the events hosted at the park. Heritage Park of North Iowa will be hosting it's 12th annual Kite day on May 19th, 2012. Kite Day attracts people who like to fly kites and people who just enjoy watching kites. The hours will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Everyone is welcome.
Heritage Park of North Iowa will hold its 12th annual Steam School at the Heritage Park grounds on May 19th and 20th. Attendees will learn the basics of Steam Engine operation, mechanics and safety. Registration is required for the event to ensure space is available.
On June 8th and 9th Bash on the Farm will welcome nationally recognized artists Tricia
Brock and Fireflight as the festival’s headlining acts. This is the 11th annual event for
Bash on the Farm and this year it’s at Heritage Park. Several bands will perform on
three stages around the park. It is produced by Do Right, Inc. a non-profit corporation
based in Garner, Iowa.
On July 15th, 2012 Heritage Park will hold its 9th annual Heritage Festival. At this one day event you will be able to sample Ethnic foods, witness various antique power shows, and many other events for the whole family.
The annual tractor ride, sponsored by the Forest City Chamber of Commerce and Heritage Park of North Iowa, is an experience of traveling through North Iowa’s country roads and small towns at a speed that allows you to really see the countryside.
Save the date for the second annual Music Festival to be held at Heritage Park of North Iowa on August 26th, 2012!
On Friday September 14th, 2012 Heritage Park, in conjunction with Fox Auction Company, will hold their 8th Annual Consignment Sale featuring antique tractors, implements, households, tools, literature, memorabilia and much more.
On September 15th and 16th 2012 Heritage Park will be holding it's 29th Annual Steam Threshing Festival at the Heritage Park show grounds. This event is two days of family friendly exhibits and demonstrations of antique power and old iron. Demonstrations will be taking place all day, with something for everyone.
Come and join your friends in a delightful evening of old memories and new experiences at a Christmas worship service in the beautiful historic Beaver Creek church. The annual Christmas service will bring back memories of Christmas’ past and features a soup supper following the service.
