Grain threshing using Jerred Ruble's 50 HP Case belted to its mate, a 36" Case separator. The two were bought new by Jerred's paternal grandfather in 1915. The engine was handed down to Jerred's late brother Randolph Ruble who completely restored the engine prior to his unexpected death in 1993. Threshing with the late E. Craig Ruble's 18 HP Huber steam engine. Craig, with the help from his Dad, Jim Ruble from Oakland, Minnesota, rebuilt this engine in 1962. The engine is belted up to Amil Johnson's 30" Wood Brother's threshing machine. Amil is from Hanlontown, Iowa. Running the engine is Harold Kuchera of Hayward, Minnesota. |

Jerred Ruble's 35-70 Minneapolis gas tractor taking a spin around the show grounds. As you can see restoration of the tractor is in process. The engine was stuck when purchased in 1970, but has since been freed. The tractor runs beautifully. It is one of the favorites on the prony brake when horse power testing is being demonstrated. |

The engine was purchased from its original owner in 1956. Jerred finished restoring it for the second time in 1986. The engine is pulling a 1940's vintage Universal rock crusher.
